Jamison Valley Traverse


Exp Level: For the reasonably fit expedition hiker

The Jamison Valley Traverse is a sensational three day hike along the Katoomba rim to Wentworth Falls cliff rim, trekking through the southern elevations of the Jamison Valley. This expedition has you climbing onto Mount Solitary south of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, then descending through a lovely open forest to the peaceful Kedumba River, relaxing and camping in two totally diverse locations.

Offered six times a year, usually every second month, excluding mid-summer and mid-winter. Please email for enquiries. Minimum of three walkers to operate.

Meeting Time

8am start at Katoomba on day one.

You must be able and prepared to carry a full pack with 2 days of water, as there are no roads, facilities or huts along the trail. This walk has the most stunning unobstructed views in the Blue Mountains.
