Testimonials

Congratulations and many thanks for making last weekend’s photo safari such a success. The organization and implementation of all those different excursions to make the whole trip a memorable occasion – from that awesome opening vista on Saturday morning of Kanangra Deep, with its sheer cliff faces descending 700 metres to the valley below, to the ‘blurring’ of the waters in Kalang Falls, the stopover at Tarana pub, to the challenging climb up Evan’s Crown (to see those huge boulders close up and the breathtaking view from the top after scaling them), then the eerie feeling while walking out to Lockley’s Pylon through the mist on Sunday morning (to view and photograph those rocky outcrops, the escarpments and enjoy that splendid vista of the mist in the Grose Valley); to the afternoon views of Mount Hay from Anvil Rock and Lockley’s Pylon again from Perry’s Lookdown – all made for a truly wonderful weekend.

In particular, I appreciated your attention to detail ( safety considerations, comfort in your new Nissan 4WD, lunch and morning/afternoon tea arrangements, excellent guidance at all times) and your preparedness to go ‘the extra yard’ to customise the experience and encourage and support all of us to make the most of each opportunity. The finding of the echidna and the camaraderie developed amongst new friends (just when was the last time we all did something for the first time!) added to the enjoyment all round as did your running commentary about the flora, fauna and eco systems of the Blue Mountains.
Best wishes
