About Us - Blue Mountains Guides

Blue Mountains Guides is the only trekking company, based in the Blue Mountains of Australia, providing extended trekking expeditions into some of the wildest areas of the Australian bush.

The founders, Philip and Bridget Jackson, from corporate backgrounds, met in 1994 whilst trekking and studying eastern philosophy in Nepal. Their joint passion for trekking has seen them complete many extended treks in some of the most rugged regions in the world. They have been walking and discovering the remote corners of the Blue Mountains over many years, and set up Blue Mountains Guides in 2000.

The business changed ownership in 2003, with the Adventure and Photographic Company continuing the same commitment to a high quality interpretive guiding service that contributed to the fantastic international reputation of Blue Mountains Guides.

Providing you with the opportunity to experience tracts of the wilderness rarely seen, as part of a small group, we supply you with great food, freshly prepared, and quality trekking equipment to ensure a fulfilling and memorable experience.
